Who and what the FCK is DADA?

Can I come without an appointment? And how long will I wait?
Yes, every day – we are open Mon–Sat 11:00–19:00 and Sun 12:00–18:00. You wait 10 minutes at most: long enough for a coffee, too short to get nervous. If it ever takes longer, we tell you straight away.
What can I get spontaneously, and what needs an appointment?
Small and medium designs are done by our walk-in team, often in about an hour. Sleeves, large realistic pieces and cover-ups are done by the appointment team, with a consultation first – book by phone or WhatsApp. Spontaneous means shorter waiting for us, not sloppier tattooing.
How much will my design cost?
Small designs from €90. You hear the price beforehand, and exactly that is what ends up on the bill. The film is included; the aftercare cream costs €10.
First tattoo. Does it hurt?
Yes, a little. More scratching than drama – usually relaxed on the forearm, more honest on the ribs and feet. Small designs are over before you have really got used to it.
From what age? And what do I need to bring?
From 16. From 18 your valid ID is enough. At 16 and 17 you also need your parents’ consent form and a copy of the ID of the parent who signs. Sounds like paperwork, but it saves you going home without a tattoo.
Can I bring my own idea?
Yes. A photo, a sketch or just a vague idea is enough. If you don’t have a design yet, we draw it for you free of charge. We adjust size and placement with you, and we only start once you have seen the design at full size on your skin and said yes.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, cover-ups are one of our specialities and go through the appointment team. First you send us a photo on WhatsApp, then we advise you in the studio, and you get an honest assessment and a fixed price. Honest sometimes means: bigger and darker than you hoped.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Not as a walk-in – your tattoo is done right away. For booked appointments always: at least 20% of the price, which we deduct from the final price. If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance it is not lost; later than that, we keep it. The rule is written here so you know it before you want your money back.
How do I look after it, and when can I swim again?
Boring, but effective. As a rule of thumb: the second-skin film stays on for 2 to 5 days, then remove it under warm water and apply cream 4 to 5 times a day, depending on how quickly your skin absorbs it. Skip swimming, sauna and strong sun for 4 weeks – the Schlachtensee isn’t going anywhere. It can vary depending on the tattoo; we explain the rest in the studio.
What if it looks faded or patchy after healing?
In the first weeks a fresh tattoo often looks dull and flaky – that is part of it. If areas stay faded or patchy after that, come by and we take an honest look, no blame. Touch-ups are included for 6 months, except on hands, feet and neck, where they cost extra.
